Some times getting down the healthiest of foods can be tough, so why not add some hot sauce. Not only does hot sauce make bland tasting foods taste better, there has been research that shows it can suppress hunger. Capsaicin, which is the active ingredient in chili peppers, has shown to decrease appetite, which in turn decreases the amount of food intake, thus lowering the possibility of weight regain. So sprinkle on a few dashes of your favorite hot sauce (Frank’s Red Hot, Tapatio, Sriracha, or your favorite) to that kale, and reap the benefits!
